8. The citywide speed limit of 25 miles per hour is mandatory:

1. Streets with heavy pedestrian activity and schools
2. All New York City streets which do not have a posted speed limit sign
3. Weekdays Monday - Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. - 7 p.m
4. Streets/roadways only in the borough of Manhattan
